Hilario Orozco Lemus is a Mexican supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LongeviQuest. At the moment, he is the oldest living man in Mexico whose age is fully validated.

Biography

Hilario Orozco Lemus was born in Puruándiro, Michoacán, Mexico, on 3 November 1913.

In May 1936, he married Eloisa Serrano Fonceca. The couple had 11 children (seven daughters and four sons). One of their sons is David Orozco Serrano (born c.1951), a Priest of the parish of the Santísima Trinidad de Janamuato in Puruándiro.

His wife passed away in April 2016, one month away from their 80th wedding anniversary. At the age of 110, he has 41 grandchildren, 94 great-grandchildren, and 54 great-great-grandchildren.

Recognition

His age was verified by Fabrizio Villatoro and Stefan Maglov, and listed as a pending validation by the Latin American Supercentenarians (LAS) as of 27 January 2022. The validation process was later completed, and his age was validated by LongeviQuest on 10 November 2023.
